Sweet Chevy C10 Resto Mod Big Block 454 V8 Automatic PS PB A/C Custom Interior
As your eyes focus on the alluring details of this choice 1967 Chevrolet C10, your mind might drift to the plane of high-maintenance trophy queens that pose better than they roll… HEY! SNAP OUT OF IT! Fancy this Chevy? Then you'd better be ready for a cool vintage hot rod that's primed for road time. 454 cubic inches of tough Chevy big block joins a smooth Turbo-Hydramatic 400 3-speed to provide all the reliable motivation you'll ever need. A lowered suspension, which remains largely stock, rolls for miles with ease. And the truck's quality, frame-off restoration attracts plenty of praise without instilling an unnatural fear of dust or rain. Simply put: if you want a cool, head turning classic that you can actually drive and enjoy, here's a chance to turn your dream into reality!
OMG OMAHA
The product of detailed restoration that was completed to very high standards, this super cool Chevy is clean, mean and ready to roll! Naturally, the build was a frame-off affair that included top notch metal work. And that vivid pigment you're busy admiring is technically a Chrysler color that's officially referred to as Omaha Orange. At the front of that Axalta flash, an early C10 grille centers a red bowtie and crisp stainless trim between modern headlamps, traditional parking lamps and a polished bumper. A domed hood leads a crisp greenhouse, which rolls two-piece side glass behind simple mirrors and polished wipers. At the sides of that glass, a shaved profile hangs a short antenna and polished factory door handles in front of a painted bed that's fashioned around a billet fuel filler. And out back, a second polished bumper frames traditional taillights and a ”CHEVROLET” branded tailgate that's complete with a polished handle.
BIG BLOCK POWER
Lift the hood and you'll find 454 cubic inches of proven Chevrolet big block! That monster eats through a polished air cleaner, which bends wind though a reusable filter element into an electronically choked Edelbrock 4-barrel. Emulsified fuel falls through a polished intake that's joined to cast iron heads via quality ARP fasteners. Those caps balance a polished Edelbrock breather and polished valve covers opposite coated, long-tube headers. Those tubes cage loomed Summit plug wires, which milk a hot HEI distributor. A dressed radiator keeps everything cool. A fluid serpentine drive spins modern power steering beneath a modern AC Delco alternator and a modern AC Delco compressor. Ancillaries are first rate in every way, with familiar Painless wiring complementing a modern brake booster and a fresh CPP master cylinder. And the tough mill rides tight in a clean, body-matched engine bay that's spiced with polished wheel wells.
BUILT TO ENJOY
Speaking of clean, the bottom of this C10 is first class and fully sorted, from the truck's polished transmission pan all the way to its fresh fuel tank. Behind the 454, a proven Turbo-Hydramatic 400 3-speed twists torque to a tough 12-bolt axle. Everything rolls low and mean on a factory-style suspension that's been thoughtfully upgraded with simple lowering blocks. A power-assisted CPP steering box makes parking easy and turns a cinch. Quick stops come courtesy of power-assisted discs and power-assisted drums. The aforementioned headers feed aluminized pipes, which route roars through rowdy Flowmaster mufflers. And power meets the pavement through sweet U.S. Mags CTENS, which spin 245/40ZR20 Hercules Raptis in front of 275/40ZR20 Hercules Raptis.
CUSTOM COMFORT
Swivel the doors and you'll reveal a tastefully customized cockpit that's classy in all the right ways. Tight vinyl upholstery dresses sculpted TMI buckets. A bright orange dash hangs handsome Dakota Digital telemetry next to hardware for reliable Vintage Air climate control and RetroSound direct-fit audio. Premium carpet anchors modern lap belts behind stainless-trimmed foot pedals. Factory door panels frame factory handles. And the driver spins a familiar Chevrolet steering wheel around a tilting column.
A timeless head turner that can actually be driven and enjoyed, this sweet C10 is ready to make every weekend a special event! Call, click or visit http://www.RKMotors.com for more information!
